We are looking for an enthusiastic tax junior to join a busy tax team.
This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their tax career, who wants a client focused
position

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of Tax Returns and computations
  • Advising clients on tax liabilities in a timely manner
  • Preparing P11Ds
  • Providing support on planning projects and researching technical issues on advisory work
  • Answering telephone calls and dealing with basic client queries
  • Communicating with HMRC
  • Maintaining internal controls
  • Admin and other ad hoc tasks as required

Experience:

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • ATT qualification would be desirable
  • Good IT skills and a working knowledge of Excel and tax software
  • Self-motivated and professional manner
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible approach and enthusiastic team player
  • One years’ experience in a practice environment
  • Experience dealing with clients directly
